CLUB  MEMBERSHIP

The Rotary Club of Riverview, FL meets every  Monday for fun and fellowship at the Riverview Branch Library; 10509 Riverview Drive.   Meetings begin at 12 noon and end by 1:00pm.  Weekly programs feature a wide range of topics.

Annual dues are billed in quarterly installments; and include weekly lunches, a sustaining membership pledge to The Rotary Foundation and a subscription to The Rotarian magazine.

Rotary bylaws, require members to maintain a minimum attendance level of at least 50%.

ROTARY  INTERNATIONAL

Rotary was formed on February 23rd, 1905 by Paul Harris in Chicago, IL.  He aspired to create a professional club that recaptured the friendly spirit he experienced in the small towns of his youth.  Today Rotary is an international organization of 1.2 million community leaders comprising more than 33,000 clubs in over 200 countries and geographical regions.

The main objective of Rotary is service in the community, the workplace, and the world.  The Rotary motto is Service Above Self.
